Evelyn Blakey is such a fun person! She makes her audience completely happy. I want to be a musician like her and make my audience forget about their worries and feel very very happy while they listen to me play! 7.11.2005 at B-Roxy
"A Night in Tunigia"is one of my favorites. I practiced this tune listening to Art Blakey over and over and over... I can't believe his daughter is listening to me play that special tune.
On tenor saxophone, Hiromichi Inoue!!
The audience were very happy. I felt happy. Evelyn said, "If I my dad were still alive today, he must've been so thrilled by listening to you, my little handsome boy!!"
I played "Moanin'"for the first time. Evelyn supported me from behind, so I was relaxed and enjoyed playing it very much.
